I think this must have been a fault. I rang tech support, did the tests, just explained it was annoying me slightly and they sent a new one out. Hardly been on it since for the past 2weeks but it seems to be loads better but i can still see it slightly but not the point of annoying me now...

    2007WFP - Shimmering/Banding issue?

K thanks. I use Desktop mode, all factory settings really just with brightness down slightly and also use DVI to DVI. It is not noticable most of the time but sometimes it can be annoying. For example if i minimise this screen i will get it then.

Morning, I'm not sure how to describe it or the word for it but every now and Isee the lines scrolling down my monitor and sort of shimmering? It is almost like the old VHS when you had it on pause but not that extreme. Most of the time it is not noticable but sometimes it is. Any ideas...

ADSL MAX from BT - Does it vary!?

Speed check using ADSL guide and bbmax. Sync rates off my Netgear Router. I've been looking into rewiring, and trying with mastersocket first, i'll get around to it some time over the next few weeks. Would i recommend ADSL Max - No way, cost me extra and i get no extra!

ADSL MAX from BT - Does it vary!?

I upgraded to 8 meg on the 9th of May. It is now the 23'rd, so i am way past the 10 day period. I checked my speed this morning (as i seem to be doing all the time lately!) and it was saying 5.1 meg down. Fair enough, ok, i can't get 8meg but 5 is ok. Well actually, that annoys me as BT...

IPAQ help - IE won't open.

Well think i have fixed this now. (Could not get to IE options as IE would not stay open!) Allocated more memory to the programs running. Seems to have worked. Thanks all, hope that benefits someone if searching for a similar problem.

IPAQ help - IE won't open.

Yeah Hard reset is my last option. Really don't want to do that (and should not have to) Rather find the problem than skip over it. I've read it might need the cookies/internet history clearing as it may be too clogged up - but no idea how to do it?

IPAQ help - IE won't open.

My PDA, IPAQ 4150 will not open Internet Explorer. It froze last night and since then it won't open IE. It opens for 1 or 2 seconds then closes. Tried resetting, off/on, leaving overnight, and still the same. Any help appreciated! (Not sure if this is the right forum area for a PDA?)
