Have you tried just popping the battery out for a few seconds? Sometimes when flashing images i find my g1 can get stuck on the boot screen.

if your in 1.5 or JF etc, you should just press in the text box and it pops up

Finished work at 4 this morning after a 19hr shift and then had to catch a train at 7am from doncaster > dundee. Train seems to be nice and quiet now though!

I am going to have to invest in a 2nd battery or the extended battery. I managed to kill my battery from 100% on a 3hr train journey (wifi/gps/etc all off) just using apps with 2/3g. I love the phone and will keep it BUT the battery life for me has got worse if anything :(

I have the white G1 and it can get quite dirty if its not in its sleeve but aslong as your careful enough, it stays quite clean. On reflection though, i'd go for the black version. Has anyone jailbroken theirs yet? I did last night and wish i'd done it earlier. Still looking at other things...

I picked up the G1 in town the other day and i have to say it is a brilliant, the keyboard is a god send but i will say this now .. t-mobile staff pre-warn you about battery life but they really do understate how bad it is. It is truely terrible .. i killed the battery in 7hrs yesterday at work...
