Yeh it just freezes on the DFI logo i tried to reset cmos aswell.

Now my pc wont load up past the DFI logo when booting please help.

Well i set up the system with just the SATA drive downloaded the patch file which was on the IDE drive and i opened the file and the pc didnt crash. So am i right in thinking this pc doesent like the IDE drive becuase i might be able to get another SATA and put this 250GB IDE in my other pc.

They are both around 40 degrees. In a thermaltake case.

Yeh im shure case temps are normal i set bios to 70 degrees to shut down so shouldnt be a temp problem im thinking its the psu.

Hello all, My new pc keeps rebooting when trying to access files like game patches on a storage IDE Hdd which is a Hitachi deskstar 250GB. And my pc keeps truning off when trying to burn a dvd or cd. I reseated the mobo in the case re plugged in all the wires and it is still happening...

I upgraded to 10 MB get 1.2 MB 1200K off the blueyonder games site :). Is the webstar DPX100 modem good enough for 10 MB ?....

Run prime with out the two fans connected. Or just try the pc with out the fans.

Upgrade to 1GB Ram. Upgrade to a asrock dual mobo and a Amd 3000 OEM and arctic cooler then you might have a bit left for another 80GB disk.
