hello skeeter, check the below link for explanations of Dram settings (i recently asked the same question & was pointed in this direction which i found very helpfull) Even if you havent got a Dfi mobo it is still a good guide to memory settings, hope it helps, eljaes ;)...

well i ended up getting the zalman (against my better judgement i must add - peer pressure an all that ;) ) i must admit it looks the part but i am now wishing i had gone with my original plan of the si-120 - think i will buy one anyway & see what the difference is just for fun :D also...

how old is your board as this mobo is only approx 6 months old so i am wondering if it coud be replaced under its warranty due to this noise. It really is frustrating!! :(
