Try cl_interp x in the console (replace x with your number of choice, set to 0 and work up from there). When you find a suitable value, stick it in your autoexec. Personally, I'd stick with 0, but you can pick any number. Decimals also work.

Long story short - I had to reformat a Sony Vaio FS315M and I've installed a fresh copy of Windows XP Pro on it. After finishing copying files ect it hangs at a blue screen with no disk activity. I hope you can help and thanks in advance.

(I posted this in the Laptops forum, no one responded.) I had to reformat a Sony Vaio FS315M, but oddly, the keyboard does not respond to commands. External keyboards also suffer this problem. The keyboard works in Linux strangely.

I have a Sony Vaio FS315M that I had to reformat, but when I try to press Enter in the XP setup, the keyboard will not respond to my commands. When I popped in GParted, the kayboard works, but anywhere else, it won't respond. I have tried using a USB keyboard, but this also does not respond.

TBH, use Linux. Nippy, quick and doesnt need new hardware. Stick a couple of HDDS in there, install ubuntu server, sudo su and then apt-get install samba. Done. You can run roundcube, fetchmail and Dovecot for a mail server and a classic LAMP server. bit-tech.net has a linux server guide.
