Ok I'm still searching for ANY UK supplier with this board in stock. Am I going mad or does nowhere in the UK have this? I kinda need one for my next PC, all the other stuff I have, just this mobo... It's looking like I'll have to order it from the Us at this rate....
If anyone knows where...
Hello,
Can anyone tell me when this will be hitting the UK? Or where I can buy one, maybe overclockers will have it in stock soon?
matx crossfire! :)
Thanks.
Yea it's the pump outlet that is the bad thread, so I guess you can't replace it as its part of the entire pump body. Thanks anyway, I'm just waiting for the sealant to dry now, so it should all be ok. Will post pics etc later to show ppl the fixbodge ;)
OOOh sounds nice, I like it. Where do I find this gunk?! My local hardware shop has loads of building supplies. I know they have loads of sealants but I haven't got a clue what to get. I will obviously take the pump out and do the job properly - I'm not worried about it being permanent ;)
I overtightened a barb on my Eheim 1048 and it cracked the inlet thread on one side. I know, I'm an idiot and ham-fisted. Looks like its £40 down the drain then, because I now need a replacement (unless anyone can tell me how to fix it?!). I want to keep the original fittings so can someone spec...
I just had an idea, to use a ball valve at the end of the T-line, then hide it out of the way once bled. Could also mount a fitting with a pushin connector at the valve so I could take off the side panel as well :)
Thanks that's helped...a bit. Basically I can't use that fillport unless I find a barb that fits a 10mm/8mm tube. Anyone else do fillports or is there a mod I can do using plumbing supplies (I'm ok at DIY so most things are possible)? Cutting the hole in the top of the case for a fillport is...
I was asking about the THREAD size, I know what the barb size is... And yea my T-lin won't be like that, it will be at right angles to the flow direction...Thanks for the info though, I'm gonna ditch my reservoir ASAP :)
That is an option yea, but the top of my case is riveted on, could I drill out the rivets and replace them with screws to make it easier to drill the hole for the fillport? Looks like T-lines take a lot longer to bleed as well, but hey, the connector cost a few quid and the fillport is under a...
OK I just ordered a T-link connector. So all I need to do is put it in with a vertical tube yea? Does it matter how long that tube is and where I put the T?
Hehe looks like a bit of pressure here... I know nothing about T-lines exept that you use them to fill/bleed the system. I'm worried about them though, because knowing me it would leak or something... I feel safer with a reservoir!
Yea I did see that radiator, but it's not for me, I'm getting a Coolermaster 4-in-3 module for my drive bays =)
And yea, I managed to get it all set up and workin with the new pump, and will update once I've swapped out the reservoir for a quiet one (pesky trickling atm).
