Its a night mare, just had the same problems with my 7900GS and gave up after days of trying and surfing the web for answers.
Just a couple of Ideas.
1 x make sure you got the correct cable from the back of the card to the cable. Some have different pin numbers in them.
2 x Nvidia...
I have the 4600 x 2 and would like to read up about the core type "Winsor" I am struggling to get any info.
Anyone know if this is a good core or were I can find info on this CPU to help with overclocking.

I have two 512 sticks in my rig 1 in slot 1 & the second in slot 3.
I have 2 yellow slots and 2 more slots that are a different colour. I was told to put 1 in ech colour to active it but it is not doing so????????
I would unplug all the power connections and replug tham to make sure all seated ok.
also check that your PSU can handle the power requirments if you got a cheap PSU and a power hungry graphics card you could be in trouble there.
With you saying its ok on side I would 1st chech power...

JEANTECH 600W Modular ATX PSU 24 pin (20+4) on a special offer on a web site.

Also should I be looking for a spacific type I dont know how much PSU`s have changed since list time I installed one. What do I need to look out for?
