I use CDWAVE which automatically can split the tracks. You can plug Lame into if you want to make MP3's out of them. My favorite cassettes I usually make a Audio CD from aswell.
I've had this problem before but can't remember how I fixed it. Basically FF crashes and deleted all the bookmarks. After this has happened FF will no longer remember any customisations (adding buttons etc) I make to the toolbar.
Any ideas?
I've never been happy with the heat these fanless enclosures create. At least if theres a PSU in there the box tends to be bigger and have a fan. Or like I said have it on the plug so there one less cable. Even one tiny makes a big difference to the heat of a drive IMO.
Looking for a 3.5 SATA enclosure that uses a fan for cooling, has power saving features, and preferably has an internal PSU or it on the plug so there isn't a power brick (pet hate).
I was thinking of trying to insert a drill bit down into the tip thats left and if it "bites" it might come out. I don't intend drilling, but was thinking even a tiny bit of shaving might cause an electrical problem. I don't care about the tip and its wasn't an expensive deck (obviously)...
I've a Sony TC-KE400S and the tip of a headphone is stuck in the headphone socket. Its was bought very cheap, do you reckon if I take of the outside casing I'd be able to get at it, or has anyone got a better idea?
I'm a bit clueless when it comes to HiFi. What does a preamp do. I see talk of phono preamps which I assume boost the signal level from a phono input into a regular amp. But then I see regular amps used as preamps for other amps. Whats that all about then?
My old Arcam Delta 290 (bought 2nd hand a few months back) died recently. (Was left on now doesn't come on) I was wondering to get a basic Sony amp like a Sony TA-FE370 or a Super T Sonic. Dunno where to get the latter delivered in the EU. Or is the Arcam worth getting fixed, though I dunno...
Its mainly for managing a central backup of all the PC's and somewhere I can access all my project, work and other data from all the PC's in the house including wifi laptops.
