Found it. When launching msconfig, Boot Tab, Advanced Options I noticed Number of processors was checked and 2 was selected. So, just unticked Number of processors and rebooted and voila. I'm up to 8. I thought my Windows Experience figure should have been better! :-)

Just installed a new mobo, Gigabyte X58 USB3. New CPU Intel Core i7 950 in and everything working, drivers installed etc. Device Manager can see 8 x CPUs (4 cores hyperthreaded). but Task Manager doesn't. Any ideas?
