    Ive already re-installed vista and i re-installed xp on another drive last night but they are both showing the same Q6600 but not 4 core or 4 threads. I did notice that Vista was very fast to load this morning i dont know if that is a good sign or not.

    Damn I feel stupid. Ive just realised that i've ordered a Q6600 and not E6600 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Energy Efficient 95W edition Socket 775 (2.40GHz) G0 Stepping L2 8MB Cache. I suppose this makes a big difference. Does it?
