Temperatures on the CPU is 50 degrees at system lock up. When play FFXIV the GPU temperature was about 60~70 degrees. I can post bios settings if you really want, all of my voltages are automatic bar the memory voltage which is set at 1.65V.

Got an RMA for the motherboard and CPU. Going to have an i5 and ASUS p7p55d delivered tomorrow :) Crisis averted!

It's not a specific application error. I used Prime95 blend/in-place large/small and my system hard locked after 5 seconds of starting the test. It's not a game issue unfortunately.

Gah. I was hoping to have a nice and easy build. I am thinking of just returning the motherboard and cpu and getting the more expensive i5 and some motherboard.

AH HA! I think I've got it! I manually set all of the RAM values and put the DRAM voltage up to 1.65v (as stated on the specifications). I can now get into a windows installer and linux live disc :D

So each stick individually works however when paired in either ganged or unganged, all OS installation fails. I think thats safe to say it's a motherboard failure then. :(

Okay so after taking out one stick of RAM. I'm now at the EULA. Never gotten this far before. Going to swap the sticks over, just to see if one is faulty.

Hai I currently have a 7800GT, and will a 1600 by 1050 widescreen monitor its having trouble keeping up with a 30FPS when I have full settings and HDR on games such as CSS etc. Now would it be better to wait until the new series/set of nVidia cards comes out? Or shall I BUY NOW :D
