Thanks Gibbs.
Didn't realize there were so many models. Was just looking to see if my Zotac Gaming TwinEdge OC that I got from yourselves back in January from the '3d printer' page had dropped in price much from the £499 I paid at the time. Looks like maybe £30 cheaper, but these are the new LHR...
Looks like i missed the cards going on the website, so out of morbid curiosity can anyone tell me what the Zotac 3060ti was going for and what model, was it the Zotac TwinEdge OC?
Thanks
GPU was GTX970 and is now a new 3060ti - so not sure why it would need bios update.
Never updated the bios as I didn't want to risk making things worse. I've followed various bios versions looking to see if the change list had anything related but never found anything.
As for battery - not a bad...
Probably too late for you to make an informed decision if the 3060's have dropped or about to, but I found this youtube video 'Which RTX 3060ti to buy and avoid' very useful to gauge the different brands of the 3060ti and why some are better than others. I'd imagine it would act as a decent...
Yep, just from that description I know the exact retailer as had that happen over half a dozen times for me too, most of those also at 3-5am in the morning and even being on the site page before the stock alert notifications dropped! I suspect that retailer is only getting a handful of stock at...
Hi,
So i've had this problem ever since I got my Typhoon from OCUK 6 years ago, but its generally infrequent and wasn't a big problem until recently.
Essentially whenever I disconnect the PC from power ( PC is already shutdown and i'm talking about taking the plug out of the plug socket to...
Yikes, not heard about that issue, then again 3090 was not really a card I was ever going to be interested in, as i'm not really the target market for it anyway.
Yep that's been my experience too.
Cheapest 3060ti hasn't been £450 for months on OCUK, likely haven't been since the release date! The last big drop from OCUK almost a month ago had the Zotac Twin Edge at £500, maybe there were some Palits or similar that were a bit cheaper and I missed them but I doubt it.
That the same Zotac...
IMHO things are not going to improve until bitcoin crashes as I really think that is the major driving force for price increases atm, on most cards you can make back the cost in 3-8 months so its almost free money. Stock is certainly a compounding issue, and I don't see that improving for at...
Just noticed the Zotac 3060ti model that I bought from OCUK for £500 and which I thought was a bit expensive are now going for £650+ on auction sites and a whole bunch of FE for £900+ !
In the last two weeks since I've bought my card I've kept checking stock drop channels on discord out of...
I'm afraid to say that anyone looking to buy a 3060ti at or under £500 is in for a very long wait.
It would seem very plausible now that stock levels will not normalize for at least 2-4 months ( i.e. a shop puts a card up for sale and stock remains available for at least that day ) and prices...
That is unfortunate but the webform states -
I think your best hope now is to ring the moment they open tomorrow to try and sort something out and re-grab you 6800XT.
whew, thats been a un-fun 2.5 hrs swapping out graphic cards!
Was really impressed that my Zotac arrived today as I figured from Gibbs statements it would likely be end of the week and maybe even into next week, but it was picked and packed Monday about 2 am. If only the installation was as...
Thanks and you're right about the 'only' part, hence emphasizing that it was personal price point for me, in fact as its for my business its not even really 'my' money, but the companies, though that doesn't mean I don't like to try and get good value. But as you go on to say the problem is for...
Good points well written and I suspect its a combination of both in different places. I'm still surprised to see at least one store with what I feel are respectable prices ( for now ), but they rarely get stock ( like most places ) and it seems in my experience very hard to actually buy from...
While I respect those who are commenting about getting MSRP or not buying and that up until yesterday I was one of those, it dawned on me that it is highly likely we will never see MSRP prices for these cards and that the current mark-ups are here to stay. I'll explain my reasoning below, but...
I set up some watch lists a few weeks back on the 970 that i'm hopefully replacing today with a 3060ti and they were going for £120-140 and thats a 6 year+ card, which while still usable is to my mind a heck of a price.
Edit: Just checking now and I see several 970's for £145 to £179+ - madness!
Been looking for a 3060ti since release ( and a new card from before that ) and was under the impression from the last Gibbs post that I saw that the sale wasn't going to happen to next week, then I find out its been on since this morning. Luckily ( or maybe not ) I hung around reading up the...
