Well i guess i just dont understand the mindset why someone would be deliberately malicious to a complete stranger on the internet...just never will....maybe i should be lucky i dont understand it...
but i think ive had enough "help"
great i'm happy for other people that they would want all that....i didnt ask for any of that. Has absolutely nothing to do with my order. If i did order all that other stuff...superthin lenses, transitional etc etc then you would have a point....i didnt so...
Why would an optician intentionally reglaze glasses at near the same prescription as the previous one at considerable cost to the patient / customer?
Thats my question - dont change the question (not an optician etc) because thats how i saw them. I assumed (yes i accept i assumed too much)...
ok wow i never thought people could be like that. Just charge me money for nothing lol. A bit of a waste if the prescriptions are so similar. I expect an Opticians to tell me that but obviously do not expect a glazing company to do so.
no i havent the way they (one of the directors)...
My eyesight has been bad for a long time. Over the years every single new pair of glasses has required stronger prescription each time. Of course i accept that for other people eyesight levels can change but i would regard it as a genuine miracle if mine had improved.
I never said they could...
Dont get what you mean here. Bear in mind i have a mental illness so choose your words better instead of just taking the **** out of me for the way i'm thinking. Because if thats all you have to offer im sure there are kittens around you can gleefully torment to sate your "appetites"
certain aspects possibly (not relevant to the discussion as you are meaning much older people and i agree).
Show me any peer reviewed articles that show people in mid 30s shortsightness improving just for no reason whatsoever.
lol. they are opticians.... i guess my eyesight could have magically got better then? i dont know of anyone in the world who is short sighted and has glasses who when they went for another glasses prescription they suddenly found they could see a whole lot better and didnt need as strong a...
so they would quite happily change the lenses if there was incorrect information put in the prescription?
See i believe a normal glazing company would do this....yep fair enough. No thought behind it at all just part of the process...received new prescription and changed glasses.
Why would an...
uhh i didnt say they should magically know my prescription but i expected them to check the lenses (both lenses)
If they were just a glazing company i wouldn't be having this conversation.
Ok this is a better answer. And you are 99% correct. If they were just a glazing company then you would be right but if you check their website they dont market themselves as just that.
i agree with what your saying here. Except they are not just a glazing company...well they are but they are run by professional opthamologists/opticians (see their website). My mistake... is that i thought that counted for something. Seems to me they marketed themselves with the expertise of...
like i said how would i have known that it was the wrong prescription? join the dots for me?
i dont think it was my mistake either. I had what i thought (and anyone would think) was a valid prescription.
