who's actually got a dell 2407 and what's your opinion on it?

For CS, yes, buy it now!!! :D If you have a decent gfx card, it is simply stunning and I couldn't go back to my CRT. A mate of mine was actually shocked at how amazing it looked! :p However, with dvd-quality video I do get some pretty bad banding (apparently this is to be expected...

who's actually got a dell 2407 and what's your opinion on it?

I have a Rev A01, and have noticed *considerable* banding in some video, even in desktop mode. I moved it over to my CRT, which showed there was some banding in the source. It really is barely noticable on the CRT, but so massively exaggerated on the Dell that it was pretty much unwatchable...

    Should I jump to a 2407?

Okay, then you need to go nVidia... and before anybody starts, the 2407wfp doesn't support 1600x1200 in 1:1, it stretches it and you can't change the aspect on the 2407wfd's OSD. For some reason this option is not available on this resolution only  Thus, you have to do it in...

    Should I jump to a 2407?

Yeah, but it's just because the damn input lag on this tft is ruining my game

    Should I jump to a 2407?

If you want a monitor that makes gaming more enjoyable, I'd buy the 2407... it's immersive, clear, sharp and bright, excellent resolution with everything at just about the perfect size, and a whole host of other advantages which, IMHO, completely overwhelm the unnoticable disadvantage of input...

    DELL 2407 Arrives at OcUK!!

I've just spent 15 mins on the phone with Dell, and the gentleman I was talking to, in some monitor technical support team, told me that A01 is the latest revision of the 2407wfp... does anybody have any confirmation of somebody actually receiving or being promised an A02, given that Dell don't...

    Should I jump to a 2407?

Depends how bad you want it ;) For me, yeah, it was worth every penny! I need another 3 of these now! And a much bigger desk :D If you want a massive bright, sharp and rich desktop, a monitor that you can really sit back and watch movies on, and - believe it or not - a way better...

    DELL 2407 Arrives at OcUK!!

Actually, after it was pointed out and I moved to my sofa, it is on quite a noticable slant. I've already forgiven it though, and I know it's not something that will bother me :) Will get that template now, but it's getting late :(

    DELL 2407 Arrives at OcUK!!

Yes... I really need to know this and fast  Is there actually any official confirmation that A02 even exists, other than some bloke in a forum? Is it possible to get A01 revisions replaced if A02 fixes something that's broke? Also, very short review... it's big, I'm in love, buy one :D

    DELL 2407 Arrives at OcUK!!

I get a 404 on that template sorry... don't think I'm going to have too much time to do a review either, not unless you'll look after my baby and get my test plan ready for issue by thursday? :( Edit: Oh, but one thing I can comment on quickly is that there was no power lead in the box!

    DELL 2407 Arrives at OcUK!!

Only if you tell me how  I got the factory menu up, but can't see anything that said A01 or A02? Compared to the screenshot of the factory menu on tftcentral, mine is V1B15 firmware and LTM240L2 pannel... same firmware as that screenshot but a different pannel? Can anybody relate...

    Logitech Cordless Desktop MX

Okay... I've found the solution on the same forum you provided the link for Overload! For future reference, if anybody else has Logitech cordless problems, the solution is to remove the batteries and press *every* key repeatedly like you were touch-typing for a good few minutes, including all...

    Logitech Cordless Desktop MX

The keyboard/mouse were bought in a single pack: Cordless Desktop MX (M/N: Y-RJ20). The reason I bounced it is because more people would read it... Like Overload did. I know it can be annoying, but it paid off :p Overload - I have no idea how you managed to find that, but you are a star...

    Logitech Cordless Desktop MX

*Bounce* I can't believe nobody has _any_ suggestions to help me out here? I've spend *hours* trying to fix it, trawled the internet, been on the phone to Logitech tech support, talked to workmates... I bought this PC over a week ago now, and it's going to be out of date by the time I get the...

    Logitech Cordless Desktop MX

*Bounce* Sorry for keeping on doing this, but I fear somebody out there must have had similar problems or have some suggestions, and I don't want them to miss this and leave me to smash up my PC with a hammer in anger.

*Bounce* Mouse is working again for no good reason, not that I can complain... Secure Mode Wizard still keeps popping up though, and new iTouch software still won't install. Please, if anybody has any ideas let me know! Thanks in advance.
