Yeah, I had this prob as well. Word 02 won't let you custom resize to A3, it lets you get near, about V-55cm if I remember right. So ... switch to OpenOffice, job done.

The reason for the conflict is that i partitioned on first install and stuck xp on to D instead of C, so had to redo it. XP was deleted from d but i still get the message.

Where does that file live? I know you said the root but Search finds nothing but boot.ini backup which i can't view. Also how do I know which instance of the OS is the dodgy one?

Have already asked this ages ago but search can't find it. On start-up (XP Home) it pauses a while saying there are two OS's, before going on to load. This comes from a slightly cocked up install. I know there's a way of stopping xp looking for multiple os's - anyone remember how?

Got mine today, and I have to say it's a heck of a screen. No dead pixels, no backlight issues and no probs with condition on delivery. Just tried COD2 & FEAR - no sign of ghosting. Can't fault it one bit, then again I've gone from 17 CRT to this so the difference is considerable.

No, I am still here, just working damned long hours with no PC access. I tried everything I could think of, uninst firewalls etc. - made no difference. Was getting to the point of despair then finally managed to get it working by...wait for it...turning the internet connection off. Works fine...
