    Windows 7 32 or 64 bit ?

If you do a lot of media playback (especially HTPC's) then 32-bit is still the better supported and mature platform. For a normal desktop OS though I'd consider switching to 64-bit tbh

    Windows 7 Media Centre Thread

They've done something to the Codec's used for HD over DVB-S, so BBC HD and ITV HD aren't working in the latest build(s). Not sure about 7106 though....

Now is 7106 in the wild?

THe most common build is still 7000, as this is the only officially released build, hence what most people are using. I've got 7022, 7057 and 7068 running on different machines, and each build has its own pro's and con's. I'd probably just go with the latest build if I was going to clean...

    Cannot connect via RDP

I've got two Windows7 machines on a homegroup. I've enabled remote connections on the target machine, and even gone as far as creating an additional administor account called 'remoteadmin' to connect with. However, when I connect to this machine, I always get the error "Your credentials did not...

    SQL: Eliminate duplicates in table

I cannot do that, unfortunately. This needs to all take place within a single select statement as It is being used as part of a view to transform the data :(

    SQL: Eliminate duplicates in table

I have a large table containing some duplicate rows (but each row has a unique ID) where all columns are identical between duplicates but for the unique ID. I want to filter out the duplicates (not just the duplicate rows, but the both rows when they are duplicated). So, for example if I had...

What are these bits for in my NSK2480?

I received my order this morning containing an Antec NSK2480 case, and inside were a couple of bits I haven’t a clue what to do with. One is a plastic square with screw holes in each corner, and the other is three thin plastic interconnecting pieces that click together like lego. I’ve attached...
