Where we are there was no real alternative to VM so had to suck it and go with them for the last 5 years or so. Late last year Toob finally installed in my area as an alternative for only £25 a month for 900 down and up. Sadly, we had renewed with VM a month before Toob went live for another...
I feel your pain. I decided to do 18.1 on the Monday instead of Friday night lights and woke up Saturday morning with an inflamed disc which happens to me from time to time and I haven't been able to do 18.1 at all :( Should have done it Friday night. I'm the only one in my box who didn't do...
Mate, that is an awesome time for 16.5! I've not done it myself before as I started Crossfit just after the 2016 games, but it fills me with dread...........when it appears as the WOD, I will cry, a lot. Bet it comes back for next years open!

I would avoid your insurance if it is at all possible as that non-fault claim WILL increase your premium for insurance renewal. Happened to me a few years ago and it jacked up my insurance for the following 3 years (maybe more) and it could have been avoided.
A mate of mine did his whole house and found the same it is going yellow. He ended up taking Dulux to a small claims court and got his money back. Might be worth doing the same?
