thanks mightynimrod, but what does the extra 4 pin do? extra power/performance?

I bought myself a new motherboard and psu. Now the problem is that my motherboard got a 20 pin power socket, and you guessed it, my psu got a 24 pin connector. Would i be better off getting a new motherboard with a 24 pin power socket? What does the extra 4 pin do anyway?

Hi, I want to get the ST20G5 along with : - amd 4000+ - 1 gig ram - sata hd - audigy 2 - 6600 gt / 6800 gs (not sure which one yet) Now i've read that this shuttle ships with a 240 watt psu, hmmm. Can somebody tell me whether this powerfull enough even with the 6800 gs...
