you need to configure the tcp/ip settings as below: static ip:192.168.1.5 subnet mask:255.255.255.0 defualt gateway: 192.168.1.1 prefered dns server:192.168.1.1 just configure the tcp/ip settings as above and it will work fine :)

ring your isp up and ask to subscribe to a static ip package there not that much i pay £5 for a single static ip from bt bb

are you running service pack 2 on both pcs if so turn it off and see what happens
