Ok I fixed it, just changed to fan profile in the BIOS to 100% all the time..... it doesn't seem to be noticeably louder so I'll leave it there for now. However when I finally got it to boot it was horrendously slow. Like 10 minutes to load a game. Restarted it and seemed to be back to normal...

Ok, think I'm going to go with the inno founders edition now that it's dropped to £389.99.... The KFA ref blower just looks too cheap, and the KFA at 379.99 looks good but again worried it won't fit in my case. Think I'd benefit from decent blower cooler in my HTPC case and a 3 year warranty too!
