Plain and simple, what's the best GPU now for a twin-screen hookup?

Flight Sim - opens windows to both monitors. Will the X2 prevent this? Also I can currently game in "windowed" mode on a lot of games and drag the window from one screen to the other on my desktop. Can I still do this with an X2?

Plain and simple, what's the best GPU now for a twin-screen hookup?

So a 4870x2 would not support 2 screens?

Plain and simple, what's the best GPU now for a twin-screen hookup?

Without all the fanboy b******s, straight up, which is the best card out there right now to run on the back of a 3.4GHz Q6600 with 8Gb system memory and 2x24" 1920x1080 screens? Price not really an issue, but I would prefer a single card solution. Cheers

Setting up RAID using Asus P5K-Premium

The Asus P35 boards are utter crap. RAID implementation is half arsed at best. I RMA'ed 3 boards before getting an Abit IP35 - which works perfectly. Google SATA RAID Asus P5K and there's a ton of other people having the same problems. 2 drives, fine, more than 2 = problems. Good luck.

    Another 24" monitor thread!

Samsung is a TN panel. Only their "T" series are PVA's (odd eh?). For value for money/quality/features - you won't beat the Gateway FPD2475W - as per my earlier post ;) Trust me, I spent 4 months trying to! (It's cheaper than the Samsung!)

    Another 24" monitor thread!

Gateway FPD2475W. 24" S-PVA (Samsung Panel), DVI (HDCP), VGA, 2x Component, 1x Composite and S-Video. Picture in picture (moveable, sizeable with alpha-blended transparency and driver mouse-over transparancy). 90 deg rotation. Even got a security pin if it gets disconnected. All menu...

    NTFS to FAT32 conversion

I should add if you're using virtual machines and mounting the Windows drive from a Linux virtual machine, write support is a very very bad thing! An inadvertant "rm -rf /windoze" is amusing to say the least...

    NTFS to FAT32 conversion

Linux NTFS Write support has been out of experimental and classed as fully stable since July 2006. I use it in Ubuntu 8.04 and it's rock solid stable.

Samsung 206BW "dead" pixel - help please

Samsung's warranty is excellent. I just got a next day total unit replacement because my stand verticle tilt had failed. It's amazing just what they will replace the entire unit for. I suggest you examine your unit very very thoroughly in case there is something else that is wrong with it....

24" gaming for £400 (Dell E248WFP any good with PS3?)

Gateway FPD2485W. Just got 2 of these a few weeks ago. Great screens ;) Cheaper than your budget too by quite a bit. PVA panels, HDCP, DVI, VGA, Component, S-Video, Picture in Picture (with transparency), Portrait/landscape - with driver detection and auto-monitor rotation. Anti-theft (need...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-108-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813 Running beautifully at 2.1V in an Abit IP35 Pro. Overclocks to about 900MHz at stock timings, probably higher if I slacken the timings. Fantastic price too.

    DELL Monitor Warranty is Ace!

I've always had crap support from Dell I'm afraid, although never with monitors. Samsung on the other hand - wow! 18 month old screen, spring fails on the stand leaving it pointing constantly 15% down. I phone them up and ask for a new spring, next day, 10am courier's on the doorstep with a...

Anyone using one of these to cool?

To be honest Fiz, you're just nitpicking Darg's reply. His comment was: The way I interpret that is the total rad size and tubing size in that "CPU All in one" device is too small for decent cooling. It doesn't matter what kind of materials it's made of or how fine the radiator fins are...

    Q6600, Abit IP35 Pro, 8Gb OCZ Platinum Kit - OC Progress/Help

425x9 would BSOD about 5 minutes into Windows. I'm pretty sure upping the vcore would have fixed it but load temps were mid 60's (coretemp) and approaching 75C on the Abit uGuru. I never run permanently at high clocks, I just like to see how high they can perform at what temperature before I...
