Is it a good idea for me to just set the speed or should i really set the timings and the voltage levels too? I'm not considering to overclock at the moment. ;)
I'm pretty good with hardware but when it comes to reclocking stuff i get rather confused. :-)

However when the BIOS kicks in it only shows them at being around...
I got this card and started to play Crysis (ace!).
I read that it has high potential for overclocking. How do i overclock? I.e. Find the best frequencies without it crashing... :)
I downloaded Riva Tuner but i don't see a "test" section.

Judging by peoples mixed advice here, i think what I may do is get 2GB of ram, my gfx card, and Vista Home premium 64. Then dual boot, that way i'm getting the best of both worlds?

There is the dual boot option, i.e. use XP for anything that doesn't work in Vista?

still not bought my new card yet (8800GTS), will do over the coming weeks. As time goes by i'm thinking i may go Vista64. I want to try DirectX10 games when i get my new card.

ok, so i unplugged the VGA cable, booted up and the screen recognised the signal. All is ok.
Got round to installing Windows Updates and one of them was an update to the screen's driver.
So i guess i don't need a new PSU, that's good!
Yeah it needs an 8 pin power connector (as well as a 4 pin molex and the standard connector). The PSU has a 4 pin. The manual does state this is ok but to "follow with some regulations etc" it is recommended to use an 8 Pin.
