recomemnd me an economical car for £2k or less plz

1.9 or 2.0 for the 306 v's 2.2 for the 406,thats not really a massive amount of increased engine size plus both cars perform about the same as the 406 weight a fair bit more than the 306 ;)

second the 306 turbo diesel or hdi,mum and dad had one for about 5 years,45mpg plus even when thrashing it and reliable as you like(all it ever needed was general service parts, one injector and some tyre's) can pick em up easily within your budget.

I've gone mad, throttle in a bottle.

was funny when a tuner was quoted as saying he would rather have a nitrous kit rather than fit cams or make the engine stronger ect,i personally would rather modify the engine so it has power all the time rather than *** which doesnt last long when your enjoying yourself. why are sub 6 secs to...

I've gone mad, throttle in a bottle.

nitrous itself may not be flammable but can you imagine what it would be like mixed with petrol from a leaking fuel tank? ;) still compressed gas so you would have to have a sticker for that ;)

    Which Car?

i would be suprised it it was only 40cm,where you getting your figures from?also the GS has far worse rear visibility for reversing than the IS unless you opt for the rear view camera.

    Which Car?

the GS300 is about 4 foot longer than the IS200 ;) saab aero is a proper dogy handling car, only fast in a straight line and they torque steer for england.

I've gone mad, throttle in a bottle.

if nitrous is fitted "FULLY" legally everyone will know you have it anyway as you have to display compressed and flammable gas stickers on the rear of the car ;)

ive got a 156 v6,if your looking for build quality dont bother with an alfa.general build quality aint too bad but they all have slightly dodgy electrics and they arent as "service and forget" as a bmw would be.not got any experience of the engines your looking at but the V6 models sound...
