After a bit of research, I purchased an asus rt-ax86u.
Getting full 500Mbps plus on desktop via router near wireless and ~250Mbps in bedroom via 5GHZ, which will do for me for now.
Hopefully when I have some Wifi 6 clients it will be even more consistent.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Re wiring, unfortunately it is not an option. Trust me, I understand it is a compromised solution.
I have actually tried an AV600 Powerline adaptor kit I had to create an ethernet backhaul between the main S4 acting as router (cabled to modem, so at full speed) and an S4 unit in the bedroom...
I recently bumped up Virgin speed to 500Mbps but struggling to see much of the benefit apart from at the router in the lounge via ethernet.
I'd be grateful fo any suggestions as to what equipment would help seeing as much of that speed as possible in as much of my flat as possible. Although not...
What changed around 2011? If it was the introduction of ABS I feel that it might not be a terrible thing to have. I had a ride on a 2013 CBR600F this afternoon. I think it's possible a good deal may be there to be had on a relatively recent second hand model with the 650F out in a couple months.
Second hand is fine and by far the most likely option unless there is a particularly good reason otherwise. Looking up to c5k, with a budget for insurance around 1k.
I apologise for how often I suspect this topic comes up. Nonetheless, I thankfully passed my Mod 2 this morning, so having put it off until that was out the way it's all stations go on purchasing a bike in time for summer.
I'd like to go down the sports/sports-tourer route. I passed on an XJ6...
Thanks. It looks pretty black and white from the T&C though. I think I've found Interlink which work out cheaper than parcelforce and specifically exclude monitors above 26", so at 24" I should be fine.
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I'm looking to send a monitor and parcel force suggested above seem to exclude them in there T&C. Has anyone used any courier successfully (with insurance) for this purpose?
Ok, thinking of the following:
YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £359.99
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £184.99
1 x Samsung 128GB SSD 830 Desktop Series SATA 6Gb/s KIT with Norton...
What monitors would people recommend for a tripple setup. I'm thinking 23/24" each. I reckon a thin bezel is a priority, but otherwise fairly clueless as to what differentiates one from another. Don't want a bit of tat, but giving I could be buying 3 I want a bit of restraint.
