Hi Here's the best advice for all the numerous problems associated with this motherboard... F##k it off, place on Ebay and replace with an ABit AN8 32X board. It absolutely wipes the floor with the Asus effort in every way possible... 31 degrees full load CPU temp anyone?

Don't know whether or not this will help but did you enable USB keyboard and mouse in the bios settings screen? If you have you'll need to disable them and use a PS2 keyboard for your initial installation or use a USB to PS2 adaptor instead to plug in your keyboard.

As a follow on from my previous comments; I swapped out the Asus A8N32 Deluxe yesterday and replaced with the Abit AN8 32x board; in part due to the temp problems and can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that Abit board absolutely wipes the floor with the Asus effort; seriously, no kidding...
