I have been looking into getting an ssd, this is my first mac.
Was going to get vertex 2 but have read problems about sleep etc...
search lead me to an intel 320 now... I am sure if I search I can find issues with those as well..
Not being in the loop, is there an ssd that is widely known...
maybe 600 end devices (mixture of windows / linux / solaris)

networking is a vast mixture of kit
sites = about 15 (micture of datacentres and client sites)
solarwinds is on the list.. thanks for the 2nd.. it does all the network stuff very well aparently.. whats it like for windows? we use scom/mom for capturing events etc. is it a replacement or just more of a dash for outages etc.
Been asked by the IT director to spec a new monitoring tool.. we currently use Nagios that requires extensive looking after and recource to code new requirements..
New tool must be able to:

I have the BK xls200 and it certainly does the job m8, I picked it up from a for sale forum for about £150 and it is a very good buy. Good most certainly doesn't have to be expensive.

I have removed a hard drive from an xbox (80gb ide) but am struggling to get the thing working in my pc. I put it back in the xbox and unlocked it but still it dont workey.
It is recognised in disk management but it will not allow me to format it...
