Very true. However if you want to stream to your 360 then I suggest you get the VLC 360 MCE snapin as it's superb! Lets you play DVD's straight from .iso or .img plus it use's far less system resources / clock cycles compared to transcode 360...
Run regedit and go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug
Change the auto field to 0 to disable it. If you want it back on later just change it back to 1.
It's only words! Who cares if they say thanks or not!!
Personally I get satisfaction from knowing I have taken the weight of their feet/made them feel happier/better...
And just because they don't 'say' thanks it doesn't mean their not grateful!!
Not at all! What I am saying is you should be doing it to help them out and not make yourself feel better!
I would be lying if I said helping people didn't make me feel good, however this is not the reason why I do it! I feel perfectly fine about myself already so see no great need to...
I have my OS +Pagefile on a single partition of 5Gb on either a Raptor (This rig) or a 15k U320 Atlas II SCSI (Server/downloader). Then I have another small partition for my programs ONLY and the rest of the Hd and other HD's are simply used for storage. That way the important files fragment...

Helped the security guard at my local Sainsbury’s hold down a thief twice his size whilst everyone else just stood their watching like a bunch of Muppets:rolleyes:

Now that AMD use heatspreaders over the CPU core it's very difficult to damage anything when building a rig provided you don't do anything really stupid!!
I would buy an IBM/Hitachi hd over a Samsung anyday, far far better hd in every department tbh.
I would also get the Geil Value kit RAM...
Your wasting your time messing about with unplugging components
If your PC crashed mid BIOS flash your pretty damn fudged tbh. Your only hope is that your BIOS chip is socketed and can be removed for hot-flashing.
