I wouldn't overthink it - why drink calories when you could eat them? Have some chicken sausages/eggs alongside your oats, change your cured meat sandwich to have cooked chicken breast or similar instead

I've switched things up a little the last week or so which seems to be positive. I was getting a little bit all or nothing on the calorie counting resulting in days with low adherence followed by super strict. I've decided to move to a 3 large meals model, no snacking (unless I need a banana pre...

I do think there is a difference between those who are bigger but carry weight all over their body, and may have increased muscle mass compared to those that have sticks for arms and legs and a lovely round / fat belly when you think about who is and isn't "fat". I certainly carried my weight...

He doesn't really say a whole lot about diet in the book from my recollection... mainly saying he has walked back some of his thinking on fasting, and that he prefers now to keep out of the diet zealot space... he seems much more focused on exercise interventions / pharmacological where...

Also, some cholesterol problems are just hereditary and cutting out certain foods is going to do next to noting and medication is indicated. Have a ready of Peter Attia's Outlive for a far reaching and easily consumable book on longevity.

Go get the cholesterol checks done, and a blood pressure - having data is good, assumptions not so much.

My first managed through it with barely a mark and wasn't really bothered by it thankfully - that must have been terrible!

The only way to properly diagnose reactions / impact is via a food diary and a long term addition and subtraction, as MoNkeE says, the lists of them are often massive as a catch all. I have chronic eczema and the blood test says I was green to go for Wheat when it's actually one of the only real...

I've just turned 35, and that's me at the 25KG down... no loose skin at the moment but I am not as lean as I will be when I get to "goal" so I suspect I may end up with a small pouch of skin of sorts, I will have more pics in May/June when I get there

I think the most important part of it is the time - that is like 18 months of progress, some ups and downs, path isn't linear etc - my big shift has been around making sure this is for the long term, don't expect results in 30, 60, 90 days but keep doing what you need to do and 300 days is a...

    Platypus' Beginners Guide to Running

I'm running a slightly extended PFitz Base Plan into the first HM, followed by a slight deload then ramp up again to do the PFitz 12/47 plan into the second (priority) plan. My base builds to 52KM/32Miles per week at it's peak with a 18KM long turn 3 weeks out from the race which I feel good...

Been through it myself mate, it's gut wrenching and I felt absolutely hopeless/helpless at the time. Do what you can to share love, support and give her as little or as loads space as she needs. Unfortunately the only advice beyond that I have is that time is a healer.

Cycle but don't "cycle" - do away with thinking about your FTP, Total watts on the session etc and just get kicking about on your bike as much as possible. Treat that as your walking if that causes you pain. In terms of diet... I always struggled with being either all in, or going crazy...
