Quite a few music production apps (eg. sonar and reason that i use) do, also the apps mentionned above especially the 3d apps
Also interstingly scanning the replaygain values uses multiple cores
Bought it a few weeks ago and works fine here.
I was worried that i bought the gold pack, installed and updated both games but when i started a skirmish game could only have the british and PE, so ran the game from the "company of heroes" entry instead of the opposing fronts one and it gave me...
Give Foobar a try, might take a bit of working out but the way i use it i just drag files from windows explorer into it and it plays the files. You could just add your entire music folder sort > random and you'll be fine. Plus you can make it look like basically anything you want
Has anyone else experienced this with GoW: It always puts half of the game on your C drive no matter what "main" drive you tell it to install to. Very annoying for me since my C drive is system drive and only 40GB, mostly full. It needs 7GB just on the C drive, whereas my D drive (my main...
I've been looking into tiling WM's and i'm stumbling on 2 things:
I would love to get rid of my mouse to use the comp, but you still need it for navigating gui programs
Also say you have firefox open and are halfway down reading a page then you open a terminal window, this then resizes...
I can't believe how well the source engine has kept up with "modern" games such as GoW. I really prefer those HL2:ep2 shots to anything next-gen has to offer with its washed out colours and over-bloomed screens. Don't get me wrong, i don't think they look ugly as such, but the effects in HL2:ep2...
Just got arch installed on my laptop and wireless working - it's taken me a few days to get this to work due to my acer being stupid when it comes to wireless!
At least Arch has the decency to include the acer-wmi module needed in the kernel. Man i love Arch, not just compared to bloatware...
Had a copperhead a while back and it died. The LMB just stopped responding correctly and miss clicking. I have a friend whose died in exactly the same way so maybe a common problem.
Anyway i recommend the Microsoft Habu - comfort of MS mice with accuracy of Razer. I love it more than i loved my...
For best value for money - CoD4
Because: It's single player is better than both the others
Bioshock has no multiplayer so if you want to play it more you have to start again. If you get Crysis, you will spend half your time just getting it to run smoothly
CoD4 multiplayer is also amazing and...
Not quite as impressive as some of the previous examples mentionned here, but...
I needed to scan a document. My main computer is Vista64 so obviously a problem there, and I couldn't be bothered to find the correct drivers for my XP install, so i just plugged the scanner in to Ubuntu and hey...
Have you tried this (old favourite at the lans i've attended):
UT2k4 invasion mode on hardest difficulty and instagib - great late at night when you're swarmed by hordes with your friends
