How do i go about turning paging off?
The system is running at standard fsb/multiplier etc, it isnt overclocked.
I ran memtest for an hour or so, with no errors. Is it worth running it for longer?
Ran Prime95 for around 7hours or so overnight. No errors/warnings, everything ok.
I then opened up my web browser and the system crashed with the same bsod,Lol.
Could it be a software problem?
Its an OCUK psu "500W"
Yeah the OS was installed onto a freshly formatted drive.
I thought maybe the psu was struggling?
Its got a Geforce GT430 graphics card in too.
As above really. System is a budget system, but only a few weeks old.
Basic spec:-
Athlon II X2 @ 3ghz
Gigabyte Nforce m/board
4gb 1333mhz ram
500gb WD caviar hdd
Basically i keep getting intermittent blue screens. These can be 5 within 10minutes, or none whatsoever over 7 hours.
Usual message...
I try not to carry any more than a few quid, because i seem to spend cash whenever i have it, whereas im more reluctant to when i would have to use my card...
Ive never been a fan of wireless tbh, having had hit and miss experiences.
So i use wired connections for pc/xbox/ps3 with my superhub, but my gf uses the wireless on her laptop and its fine. But i do get a quicker download speed on my pc, i assume its down to the "g" wireless on her laptop...
You can easily pick up a budget receiver (sub £200), blu-ray player can be had for sub £100, leaving £200 for a speaker setup.
Could do it for even less carefully choosing 2nd stuff.
Id say my blu-ray/5.1 setup cost less than £300.
Must be some top drivers on here, best i can manage is a 41.01 :(
Looking at the Top Players scoreboard, someones done the track in 38.537!
I assume thats in the same class car etc too?
