So scanning this thread if your gaming at 1080/1440p/High refresh the 6800/xt is a no brainer, at 4k its much of muchness between AMD & Nvidia... If you have to have RT performance Nvidia is the only real choice... For all the several games that support it and all points are moot because we cant...

RTX 2080ti was just up on the shop for a few seconds I swear.

I'm getting consistent freezing followed by a CTD within 5 mins making 2.2 totally unplayable...Half the time I get error msg 'direct3d cannot lock a buffer.'

Just got a replacement (new in box) 980ti from my RMA and I'm really tempted to sell and get a 1080 on release. Also my Rift should arrive in June and from the little I've read the new cards are better for VR for some reason...What should I do?

My HOF died in a similar way a few days ago and is currently going through RMA. Happens to all cards but I regret not getting a MSI gaming tbh. I hope I don't go through this again 6 months from now.

Tried today on another machine, clean install, and couldn't even install Nvidia drivers (old or new) before it would crash. Safe to say it dead!

It's stock (factory overclocked KFA2 HOF) and I've never played with the clocks. Anyway it's now crashing the display driver when booting into windows so I'm guessing it's borked. :( I'll try it in another machine tomorrow but it looks like RMA time.

Started to see hard crashes today...Loaded up Elite dangerous for the first time in months and after 15 mins get a strange crash, the screen went black but I could still hear sound as if the game was active but couldn't get past the black screen and had to power off, it wouldn't even reset...
