    Help with a decent soundbar.

I was looking at the Samsung and Sony sets in the £1500 range but bought the Sonos ARC instead for £730 even though it wasn't initially even on my radar. I didn't hear any of them before purchasing, just trawled reviews. I only really do streaming but I'm quite liking it so far to be honest...

    What watch do you wear?

It's a 40mm case so it definitely isn't huge by modern standards. I also have a Jazzmaster viewmatic that is the same size. The lug width is quite big though and it is a thick watch in this particular case (15mm) because of the modified Valjoux 7753. I don't mind it at all, although some do. I...

    What watch do you wear?

Got weak this Christmas (after repeated e-mail harassment from Hamilton) and bought myself a new one:

    Citreon C3 2015 1.2 puretech as a first car ?

I had/have a Mazda 2 Sport and it's a pretty decent first car to be honest - no reliability issues, reasonably nippy around town, decent enough at higher speeds other than the fact it only has 5 gears. Suspension is a bit stiff but that's about my only real issue. Has a whopping 101 BHP but it...

    Mazda2 brake squeal

I had that happening on my Mazda 2 when breaking at low speeds, guy at garage said there was absolutely no grease on the pads so he chucked some on and haven't had it happen since. It appears to be optional to add grease so YMMV.

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

When I initially got a PS4 Pro Stardew Valley was all I played for a couple of weeks, excellent game! It's open ended to a certain extent but there are mini objectives, along with some bigger objectives but none of it is compulsory. I stopped playing it when Zelda BOTW came out and realised I...

If either of you want to be half decent (or at least to make it easier to be half decent) you'll put motion controls back on again :D. Motion controls are great once you get the hang of it and make it much easier to play with the additional pro of making you much more accurate. It's a pity...

    PlayStation VR / VR2

Anyone recommend a decent stand for the PSVR? Preferably one that can take the move controllers. Seems like a bit of minefield with the ones I want OOS! :)

    Dynaudio Emit M20 + Rega Elex-R + ? DAC

Hi, I'm coming from an Audioengine A5 active setup and want a decent upgrade on sound so I've decided to take my first proper venture into Hifi aka the loony bin :D. Initially was planning on buying blind which is a bit of a no-no so demoed some speakers/amps yesterday and liked the M20/Elex-R...

***Official - Super Mario Odyssey Thread!*** NO SPOILERS

Also loving it so far, just left New Donk City with 160ish moons. Initially after the first 20mins I was thinking it was going to be a let down but it just gets better and better. Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey = Addiction overload :D.

    Snipperclips and/or Mario Rabbids?

I really enjoyed it too, instantly did the ultimate challenge in the 4th world 1st time following completion. I never used Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario was my weapon of mass destruction: bomb blast dash, draw them in, and vampire hammer to finish them off. Used Rabbid Mario, Luigi, and Mario for...

Stardew Valley is great, one of the best indie games I've played in a while. I've pumped more hours into that than any other PS4 game I've got. Only stopped playing it when BOTW came out. I reckon I'll probably end up getting it for the Switch too as it's one of those games that you can pick...

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

I have a Wii U and to be honest there isn't much point for the most part, I only got one for Mario Odyssey. Originally bought a Wii U for Zelda before it got delayed for the best part of 18 months. Saying that, it is excellent and it's looking like this console will get a lot better support on...

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

I use bounce for Mario, Vamp for Rabbid Mario, and Ink for Luigi. When I was using Rabbid Peach it was Honey for her. I don't think there is a best, although I avoid honey since it's actually a good thing when enemies move for me since Steely Stare and Hero Sight are absolutely lethal...

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

Thanks for the feedback on the portable chargers, I've ordered the Ravpower one so I'll see how I get on. Also been playing Kingdom Battle and loving it so far. Currently around half way through chapter 3 and done 95% of the challenges in the 1st 2 worlds too. Finding it extremely...

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

Anyone got any recommendations for portable chargers for the switch? Probably don't really need it other than for holidays and stuff like that. Two I've been looking at are: USB C Portable Charger RAVPower 20100 and the Anker PowerCore 10000.

    Paint

Skirting: I use Armstead Trade Quick Drying Primer/Undercoat and Armstead Satin. Water based gloss is a bit of a minefield due to yellowing. Benjamin Moore and Bedec are also supposed to do very good paints for this area. Walls/Celing: For walls I've only really used Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt...

    Hard wearing interior paint suggestions

Benjamin Moore Aura is quite good stuff but expensive (although covers better). Much higher quality than most if not all UK paints. Has excellent touch-up-ability too. Regal Select is slightly cheaper but also supposed to be excellent.

    Car Stero Recommendations

Yeah just the volume buttons in the top left, easy enough to press though. You can use the "ok google" stuff to adjust volume hands free but it isn't the most fluid, although there might be more optimum voice commands to do it than I am aware of. I have to use the buttons to adjust volume...
