I suspect the installed PSU is feeding power even though it is switched off. Sounds like it is faulty or damaged. You could confirm this by unplugging the kettle cord from the PSU mounted in the machine as a means to making sure it really is 'off' and running the test again; I suspect it won't...

Wouldn't a 4060ti draw about the same juice as your existing 2060? Might offer a cheaper solution until 5000 or 6000 series?

I'm in Hampshire and need a molar done. From a bit of reading I'm in an expensive area and also need an expensive tooth sorted. How did your choose your dentist if you don't mind my asking?
