You definitely need to see an ENT consultant as soon as possible then. Hearing deterioration can be due to a number of reasons, and hearing aids may not necessarily be the best course of action (eg, if it's a middle ear conductive loss). You can get referred to a consultant through your GP.
Yes - I'm almost certain you will be able to get hearing aids free on the NHS. Going private you will have more choice though. Don't go to boots - as far as I'm aware they just offer basic ones without sufficient customisation to your particular hearing, as they're mostly aimed at old people...
Thanks titanium, but that's still not what I'm looking for. That was basically what I did find on google/youtube.
But you're right - I did mean highest common factor. Actually, that's not too important, the ratio just needs to be in its simplest form (and quickly) for the purposes of the exam...
Thanks, but that takes much too long - it's for a timed numerical reasoning exam (which I'm doing tomorrow...). Sadly the person who explained how to do it quickly originally to me is off on holiday atm..!
Hi
If I have a ratio which isn't straightforward, how can I figure out how to simplify it (or conversely, what the highest common multiple is)?
Eg: 152:121.6:212.8
The highest common multiple is 30.4, so it goes down to 5:4:7. But how do you figure that out? I was once told how to do...
Well of course they're not going to answer the phone if they're based in America and you were phoning in the UK morning. Phone back in the UK afternoon.
You can get electric or gas water heaters that do so on the fly. No need for a tank. You'd need a plumber in to install it. But then again, it would be as much effort to just get the tank itself sorted.
Here's a list of languages by difficulty. Compare something like French/Dutch/Italian at 600 class hours with Japanese/Mandarin at 2200 class hours...

BA is actually pretty good: "You are allowed one piece of hand baggage plus a laptop or handbag. "
and "Musical instruments may be carried in addition to your stated hand baggage allowance, providing the dimensions do not exceed those of a guitar and providing it can be security screened."
Yeah, on a Mac. But it's just the BBC News videos that have problems - all other flash is more or less fine. Including that of iplayer.
