Had exactly the same issue with mine, tried grease, oil, lube, wd40. Nothing helps for more than a week or so. I've decided to replace it with an Abus chain for now. It is almost 6 years old and has dealt with daily use in Danish weather year-round. If you find a fix, let me know ;)

I'd try running Memtest, it could be a faulty stick, failing that reset the bios to default values and see if that helps. Almost certainly a RAM issue.
