I have a ROG Maximus XII Hero wifi paired with an i9 10850k and 4 sticks of Patriot Memory Viper Steel Series DDR4 16GB (2 x 8GB) 4400MHz Performance Memory Kit - PVS416G440C9K
It detects two xmp1 and two xmp2 profiles (4400 and 4295) and when I try each of them it won't post.
I can only get it...
Guys, what monitor stands have you used with this monitor. I just placed an order for one and I wonder which stand or wall bracket to go for since this guy is heavy.
Thanks.
I want to add a 120mm side fan to my Antec 902 case to give some extra cooling to the SLI cards, but because the cards dont use the standard one fan design they actually push air in the case and through the back of the case/PCI slot exhaust (see pic below).
My question is, should the side fan...
Ah cmon man its the 21st century and everyone has antivirus right? Its just an iphone m4a file.
The thing is why is it only doing that in Windows? Doesn't do it when its in the bios at all
I have 2 cards in SLI, slot 1 and 2 of an Asus Rampage II Extreme and was just wondering if these idle temps are normal.
Card in slot 1 idles @ 35c
Card in slot 2 idles @ 55c
Physx enabled on 2nd card.
Nothing OCed in the sytem.
Not sure about full load didn't get a chance to play with them...
I'm getting a strange sound from what I believe to be one/both the new GPUs I installed in my system. The sounds wasn't there when I was running the GTX 280.
Do these cards make a strange noise when idle? The sound comes and goes so its not constant. For example while booting I can't hear it...
Yeah brand new Corsair AX850 psu so that should do it.
I did a clean install yes.
I ended up installing the drivers from the asus website 267.85 and it works now.
Any reason to try and get latest drivers working?
Also does it make a difference which GPU I set for Physx?
I have just purchased 2 x Asus GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II TOP to run in SLI with my Asus Rampage Extreme II board.
The cards are installed in slot 1 and 2 (blue ones) and the SLI bridge that came with the board was used.
Then I have installed the latest official drivers from the nvidia site...
Hi,
Was thinking of going for a crossfire setup with 2 Sapphire 6950s but am just worried of the fan noise of two cards, especially when not gaming just using the computer for internet stuff for example.
Can anyone share their noise experience of a similar setup?
I found that overtime with the gpus that put the air outside that fan so getting clogged with dust very quickly and they're a pain to clean properly. I think the MSI will be easier to clean due to the different type of fan.
To be honest I had bad experiences with factory OCed GPUs in the past where they would easily overheat/not last too long for a minimal increase in performance.
