I've seen from stulid's...
Thanks for the reply. CPU-Z shows the following.
Is "Bank Cycle Time (Trc)" the same as "DRAM Write Recovery Time" or is that just coincidence?
(it's at 390Mhz as the motherboard doesn't seem to like 400Mhz anymore :()
A quick and no doubt simple query for you please :)
I've got some of the Ballistix 6400C4 and I've set it to 800MHz but am not 100% sure of the timings required in the bios (for stock settings)
On my ASUS P5W DH Deluxe the options I have are:
1. CAS# Latency
2. RAS# Precharge
3. RAS# to...
Hi all - some guidance if you could please :)
I think my GeIL PC6400C4 (which never ran at advertised speeds) is now on it's way out* so I'm looking for a replacement.
I'll be after a 2GB of PC6400 to run at 800Mhz with no overclocking planned.
What's the recommended RAM for the P5W DH...
I've just started looking for a new TFT as my current CRT has just popped :s
If the text was too small for you on a 17", I would perhaps suggest a 22" over the 20" as they seem to run the same resolution, therefore it will simply be bigger.
Hi,
I've seen mention of options to set the fan speed for a specific temperature on the X1*00 cards but I'm damned if I can find them. I've downloaded ATITool but can't see it in there either. Any help appreciated :)
Via Everest it seems my card makes it to the high 80's for GPU and GPU...
Same story as mine - Initially it didn't start at 6400 so I set that in the BIOS, but as soon as I change the timings to the rated 4-4-4-12, it doesn't get into windows. Voltage stated on the chips themselves is 2.1V.
Hi - I've been upping the speed of my new rig:
Intel Core 2 DUO E6400
Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB
Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2
and windows seems to like it so far at 375FSB, 3GHz on the CPU. However...
The manual* definitely says to leave the Jmicron alone, but as you've both killed it with no obvious side affects, it's gone ;)
* page 4-29: Setting the above item to [disabled] may cause adverse effects. We strongly recommend that you keep the default setting [Enabled].
I've just put the following together:
Intel Core 2 DUO E6400
Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB
Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2
All at stock, no tweaks at all at the moment with the following results. Does...
You can check the status of your order here:

Found that on the forums, not on the sales site. Is it actually on the sales site?
I installed the Intel drivers OK during the XP install, then let the Support CD install all the other drivers in one go - including the Jmicron raid driver. I've nothing connected to the Jmicron controllers but now when the WinXP loading screen appears it really stutters. The blue progress bar...
