    Cheap ebay ICE/Satnav?

I just bought a 10.1 PX3 (1GB/16GB) from ebay for £65 new. Loaded android auto reloaded and connected to my phone, works really well. I was worried that it would be slow, and had tried a PX5 (4GB/32GB) with a 7inch screen but much prefer the larger screen and with the phone doing all the work...

Hi there Just a quick check with you guys on this card. This is the 3rd time in three years that the card has burnt out by the power connectors. I do not use it for 3d work at all, but like to have the option I guess. Last time it went bang I had been give a logitech steering wheel and...

The Amazon Firestick is also very nice, and fast. I got one last week and use it with Plex which seems very responsive and slick. Might be worthwhile taking a look.

Will an enermax galaxy 850w be enough for 2xgtx 980 sli?

Just got my Enermax out to use on a mining rig, and will run 4 x R9 270 cards on X11, but not 5. that is on a celeron and a basic board, so no drives etc.

Will an enermax galaxy 850w be enough for 2xgtx 980 sli?

umm, not sure on the part number but I have an Enermax Galaxy 850, which is a good deal larger than a normal supply. Mine would not power 2 x HD7950 cards which was quite surprising until I read the manual and found that the four PCIe supplies are off only one or two rails, so that really...

    Windows Storage Spaces Raid Cards

The Dell Perc cards work fine from memory. You don't really need a raid card though do you, you just want a SATA/SAS card I would have thought. I bought a box full of the Perc 5i cards, which attach 8 drives each. The other really useful thing that I discovered is that the Perc 5i cards work...

    power supply for NL40

Got a replacement drive for a Shuttle, it is maybe 3mm wider than the original, however will fit with a bit of determination. It also needed a 20 to 24 way adapter cable, mainly to increase the length to fit. All done and fitted and machine is back up and running. Supply cost £15.99. That...

    power supply for NL40

Yes, I am doing the same for my friend, but it is a shame to throw it away, just because of the power supply. There are some cheap recon ones for Shuttles on the bay, so will try one of those, they are the correct measurements and output, but the cables may need extending. thanks again for the...

Worth the change from RAID0 VelociRaptor's to an SSD?

I also tried SSDs again, mainly due to the fall in prices. I now have two Agility 120GB 3s in RAID and kept the two raptors as storage, again in RAID. The SSDs are much faster. There is a lot of advice on here about which SSDs to go for, and I am looking at maybe moving to the new Samsung 840...

Removing a VelociRaptor from its IcePack question?

The drive still has it's connectors in the standard locations, does not run hot (for this type of drive) but it does void the warranty. I would not recommend using in a laptop for example, but fine in a regular pc case

    jerky video play back

Hi Guys I have a really odd problem in playing back x264 files on my system. This has never been a problem, before, but I started with a fresh install of Windows 7 X64 with two Vertex 3 128GB in Raid. Since then i have tried various different codec packs and all the same. Strangely the...
