I would just enjoy your 24incher for a while then jump in a few months later with a next gen card. On a personal note I would not adopt windows vista in Jan I would wait 6mths or so at least for all the driver issues to have been sorted etc. Looking at the first gen G80 cards I was shocked...

Just to let you know you can overvolt the memory upto 2.3V which should remove any instability issues. Just go with AUTO settings initially and use Prime95 large FFTs to test the memory. This way detects memory instability far quicker than memtest IMO. Goodluck. HTH Jules

I would spend the money on some sort of alternative power supply unit that smooths out the surges and noise in the mains. These units can be quite effective according to some audiophiles. I myself can here a buzz sound from my system when someone rings the doorbell at the apartment block...
