Thanks Gav. Deffo will go with the i7-3770k for the virtual threads. What sort of freq can you achieve on this CPU with stock HSF? Read some bad reviews on the MSI Z77A-G43 as far as overclocking capability?

Works fine on Vista for me. All setting maxed out, not that there are much visual options. Runs very smooth, even on 2d clocks on my gfx card!

Yet again, they persist on making crappy looking footy games for our expensive powerfulll gfx cards. However, i think the player movements are more fluid, more chance of losing the ball and more unique player actions.

Easy, drag the bios file on to the USB stick, restart pc, press the option to start EZ Flash, it automatically searches the USB and lists the available bios files. Click on update and done. You can also make a bootable cd/dvd (i think).

Get with ages guys, if you have ditched the floppy drive then you must have a USB stick. £10 for a 1GB stick or a mashup mobo, your choice.

Try setting vcore to auto, see if that boots to desktop.
