driver problem
ive never had any issues with ati drivers untill the new control center drivers.i get a gpu 2 load of 99% on my 5850 crossfire setup at idle with the 11.1 11.2s and 10.12...ive rolled back to 10.10s and the problem is sorted.i have tried a custom install on the new ccc drivers...
i bought an f3 1tb and im using win7 64bit, and when i try partitioning the drive it only shows it as a 32 meg drive not 1 tb. im using an e6300 on the gigabyte 965-ds3 mobo .does anyone know how to solve this or try returning drive to factory defaults ....or do i just RMA the drive.
thnx for the responses again lads but still no good.....i tried altering the pcie frequency as suggested to 96 and upping the nb voltage.......i tried 90,91,92..upto 100....several different pci-e voltages and mch voltages etc......the pc boots mint and runs vista mint.....but graphics...
just thought id give you guys an update.....ive looked at 20-30 different forums reading about the pci-e at 1 speed problem with various mobos and graphics cards.....it seems to be a chipset issue.....mainly 965 and p35. some folks have suggested a psu problem ...but i have a corsair hx 620...
well...i decided to strip the pc down and start again.....i removed the motherboard from the case and reseated the cpu then completely rebuilt the pc and reinstalled the os(vista ultimate)....i reloaded the bios optimal defaults ....rebootedwith everything at stock....and the pci-e slot is still...
sos guys i mean the problem is that instead of the pci-e slot registering 16 speed...its stuck on 1 speed....i tried to cure the problem by increasing the pci-e frequency and upping the pci-e voltage but i still get very poor performance and the pci-e slot is still at 1 speed....ive checked with...
