Just teasing, you almost replied as if premium bourbon was not good enough- you preferred ultra-premium :p For a simple bourbon that isn't the horrid JD stuff, give Bulleit a go (though I imagine you've tried this). Try Knob Creek and Buffalo Trace- both inexpensive but distinctive flavours...
