I believe a retail X-fi Extreme Gamer ships with a low profile bracket and a standard bracket, so I'm hoping that someone who has used the low profile bracket might be willing to sell me their superfluous standard profile bracket.

Creative have said they don't have them, so I'm hoping that someone out there has got one they don't need. I'd be willing to pay for it! thanks, Dave

Thanks for your reply. I'm still waiting to hear back from Creative. Would it be safe to use the card without a bracket, as regards dust getting in the gaps, looseness of connection, etc. thanks, Dave

I've just bought a second hand X-Fi Gamer card and it has a low profile bracket installed. No use in my full tower case!? Does anyone know where I can obtain a standard height bracket to fit onto the card? Thanks, Dave

I've just received my E6300 and an Asrock 775 VSTA and I'm having all sorts of problems with it and my hard drives. It freezes during the POST just after recognising my Maxtor 80GB IDE drive, so I removed that and then installed Windows on a 200GB Samsung IDE drive. It now refuses to boot...

I had some arctic silver 3 that I used 3 years after I originally bought it and it worked fine. :)
