    Conroe CPU temp ?

    E6300 @ 3.3 with 1.4v using an AC Freezer 7 Pro, 38-40 Idle then 48-50 on load... This is with fan at 2000rpm. All in a Antec p180 case with case fans on medium! This seem abit high? We all using coretemp for the readings? As the gigabyte utility says 28 idle 37 load... :rolleyes...

    6300 + DS4 At 3.5 Gigs

    I've finally found a stable point at 474, was trying 478 but prime started erroring after 2 hours, and i'd get random reboots!! 474 has run for 10 hours no problems ;) http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=109042 I'm more than happy with this coming from a P4 Northwood @ 3.3!!

    Looking for some OC pointers : DS4 & E6300

    I've tried 5,5,5,15. And upping FSB to 500 won't boot and reverts back to stock! Tried 4,4,4,15 And FSB at 490 and got to Windows but then a BSOD, this was also with .3 on the Chipset, and staying at 1.40 on CPU. Is 1.4 ok for the CPU, i have seen other people over at XS putting 1.45 in...

    Thanks for that. :) Mine doesn't boot if i set PCI Expres Frequency to 100 have to leave it on Auto? :confused: Isn't your memory frequency 1000? I've managed to get it booted at 480 had to up CPU voltage to 1.425 but isn't stable... I'm running the same memory, yes sunama those...

    I turned it off by disabling 'CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)' and 'CPU EIST Function' in the Advanced BIOS Features. Seems to have done the job :) Nice clock btw Asgard. I can't seem to get passed 3150mhz - 450 * 7 Are you overvolting much on the memory etc. What settings have you got...
