I've just had to get my mouse replaced due to a double clicking issue. I used the bot and it was OK taking about 10 mins to answer it's questions and then another 10mins before I got to chat to a real person. It then took about another 40mins before they finally agreed to send me a replacement...
I'm a bit of a case addict so have owned the FT02 and the original O11D plus my system now sits in a Torrent Compact so I think I'm pretty well versed on the pros and cons of each.
FT02 - Amazing case for it's day, by far the best option for air cooling at the time but as you say it's not...
Same here, I think I must average somewhere around one a year. Some years I don't get a new case but others I've bought 2 or 3, crazy really but at times the search for the perfect case for that particular build took several attempts.
I definitely play for longer than 4 hours at a time and haven't got a black screen after that specific amount of time. I did have a couple of occasions when I got a black screen while gaming but I'm not sure after how long and anyway I've not had that happen in a couple of months. FYI I am using...
My Corsair AX1200i is still going strong after 8 1/2 years.
I thought at the time that £240 was a lot to spend on a PSU but given the 1600 watt version currently sells for twice that I'd say it was a bargain.
It's done me proud so far and is still in warranty for another 18 months, hopefully...
I had the same monitor as you since late 2015 and finally upgraded last year for much the same reasons you are looking.
I spent a long time looking at the Ultrawide options but in the end I went for the Asus PG42UQ 42" 4K OLED and I couldn't be happier.
The way I look at it I now have a screen...
Just to add my experience of V033, I've not used my screen above 120hz and had no issues prior to updating to it.
I've now had several wake from standby issues and more worryingly it's randomly gone into standby twice now while I've been in the middle of a game.
I'm going to go back to an...
Thanks, the video as well as the review are very informative. I'll check out the donation page shortly :)
Quick question though, I presume the settings video is based on firmware V031 ?
The latest firmware available from ASUS website is still V028 so I'm not sure whether to wait for the new...
I have a 1.5m solid oak worktop on top of Alex drawers and it is great both functionally and aesthetically. Sorry I can't answer about the flex question but as the difference was only a few quid I went with the 40mm option as IMO it looks better as well as being sturdier.
I didn't bother with...
If you want something a bit smaller than the standard Fractal Torrent you could look at the compact version. Both will fit the Noctua NH-D15 which is their biggest CPU cooler.
I've now moved my system from the standard to compact versions and from what I've found so far the compact seems to be within a degree or two of the standard version.
Before moving across to the compact I tried running the standard version with just the 2x 180mm front fans to see what that did...
I'm not sure if more reviews have been published since but the ones I read yesterday either stuck to using the supplied fans which means the compact is down 3x140mm compared to the standard version or used their own usual fans throughout and didn't make use of the 180mm's.
I've got a compact...
