Anyone with a 3810TG -how long does it take you to fully charge from empty? Took me like 4 hours the other day, maybe nearer 5. I wonder if this is a fault... I have the latest BIOS revision :/

My new 3810TG took 4.5 hours to charge earlier today - is this normal? I have updated to latest bios which is actually meant to fix battery charging isues - however 4.5 hours of charging seems crazy to get it to full!

Anyone else found that after installing the latest BIOS on the 3810 that the blue light at the front no longer displays the battery usage? In fact, it doesn't even light up at all ...

That's really weird... I am starting to wonder if there is a fault with my laptop. With no drivers installed, I still see both GPUs - and the only way to avoid getting a "device cannot start" error from the ATI GPU is to disable switchable in the BIOS. I did upgrade to the newest BIOS, and now...

Thanks mate, I might take you up on that. My main concern is why is task manager reporting the device as unable to start (code 10). Is this normal when the Intel GPU is in use?

Those are no longer available on the Acer drivers pages. And they list the same drivers for Home Premium and Ultimate :/ Not sure what to do!

So when I select switchable graphics in the bios, I get code 10: device cannot start against the ATI GPU - however if I choose dedicated then it loads fine and works fine. Any advice highly welcomed... not quite sure how I can get Win7 to switch to the ATI GPU when it reports it "cannot start"..

Ok I now know it's something to do with Acer PowerSmart manager. However, after installing it, it does not boot on start up. If I go to the program folder, I see "NVHybridGraphicsSwitch.exe" however it crashes when I run it. This is a 100% clean install of W7 Home Premium... what's going on!!

Yep installed graphics drivers from Acer site - DM still reports device cannot start... :/ CCC just shows the Intel GPU - and there is no context menu on right click to switch displays in Windows :/

For my ram, it needs 2.1v :( So i'm screwed! No doubt explains why mine wont boot with 1T enabled. Also, I dont see a "low" option - just normal and high... I dont understand why asrock dont just let us specify the voltage like we can do with the CPU. it sucks being limited to undervolting...

Hmm I think I may have worked out why my board wont run at 1T. The memory I use (the GEIL DDR2 2x1gb 4-4-4-12 kit) states it should be run at 2.1v on the sticker. The ram has a range of 1.8 to 2.3V, however even with the VDIMM = low (2.5v), i'm still overvolting the ram because this board...
