Viewsonic VX2025wm or the Dell 2007WFP........again!

Thanks Badass. I was just coming back to the forum to post that I'd found out it was the S-IPS after all - found a link of yours in the widescreen monitor review thread that gave the full panel model number - 'LM201W01'. Thanks anyway.

Viewsonic VX2025wm or the Dell 2007WFP........again!

Thanks for that Badass, but it doesn't seem to work. Perhaps they've changed the procedure for the newer models? The only info I can find is when I press the '-' button and a large menu comes up with a series of options regarding colour management and setups for PC/Mac use. At the very top...

Viewsonic VX2025wm or the Dell 2007WFP........again!

@ Mrk - yeah, that's what I've read too. Thanks for confirming. Well, I've just received my new Dell 2007WFP and I've got to say, it seems fantastic so far. Lovely widescreen desktop and Firefox. Having upgraded from a 17" TFT, all I've gained is the extra width, but it makes it so much...

Viewsonic VX2025wm or the Dell 2007WFP........again!

I have also taken the plunge and purchased a Dell, so I'll let you know my opinion when it arrives tomorrow. Can't wait. Regarding the issue raised above about the price, I'd agree with fish99 - it depends where you buy the Dell from. OcUK have a cheaper price than Dell, but all I'm going...

Viewsonic VX2025wm or the Dell 2007WFP........again!

Hey folks, it's been a while, but I'm back..... :) Yet another revival of this thread I'm afraid. I never did get round to getting either of these because of finances, but I'm back in the market for one now, so.... What are people's verdicts now that they've both been out for a while...

    Hanns-G HW191D or Hyundai ImageQuest N91W 19" TFT's?

Thanks for that TOKa. I'm leaning toward the Hyundai, but I'm trying to justify the extra £30 (inc delivery) for it. I don't really need the extra VGA socket tbh, but the overall appearance is much nicer and comments seem to be very positive in general. How much was the Hyundai when you...

    Hanns-G HW191D or Hyundai ImageQuest N91W 19" TFT's?

    ***Bump*** Anyone? Hello? :)

    Hanns-G HW191D or Hyundai ImageQuest N91W 19" TFT's?

Apologies folks, I know there's been a lot of discussion on both of these models already, but I've found little direct comparison between the two. I'm torn as to which one to go for. With regard to conectivity, there's little difference - both have a VGA and DVI input which is all I need. The...

What's the best way to clean the screen of a TFT monitor?

I can't believe people are suggesting using a damp cloth! I wouldn't put liquid anywhere near my screen unless it's specifcally designed to do the job. Each to their own I guess - the risk is yours.

What's the best way to clean the screen of a TFT monitor?

DO NOT - I REPEAT - DO NOT USE A DAMP OR WET CLOTH!!!! Best thing to use (if you haven't got any specific TFT screen wipes) is a soft, dry, clean cloth. In theory (unless you've sneezed or spat food/drink all over it) it should only be dust you're removing. A dry cloth gently...

    Belinea 102035W

AFAIK - Yup - because of the import tax applied to monitors specifically with DVI inputs manufactured outside the EU (and then imported in to the EU), Belinea opted to release the same model without a DVI input to keep the overall price of the unit down. So you pay less for not having the DVI...

Viewsonic VX2025wm or the Dell 2007WFP........again!

@ Badass - any news on the comparison between the Viewsonic and the Dell yet? Haven't had a chance to search the forum, so apologies if I've mised it. Thanks.

    Viewsonic 22" Widescreen is coming.....

Likewise, I would be interested to know how it holds up against the Dell 2007 w/s. Despite what the ladies tell me, the extra 2" does make a difference!

What TFT monitor do you use with you Xbox 360?

Why not? What's the problem with your setup - why don't you like the display? I'm thinking of picking up a Dell 2007WFP 16:10 20.1" to use with mine. Will be using the VGA cable. Currently using a 19" 4:3 Iiyama TFT and it works fine, except I'm obviously not getting widescreen pictures...

    ghosting and defragmenting

From all accounts, Maxtor drives should be avoided like a bout of the clap. :p Oh, and if your mobo supports SATA, I'd go for one of those instead of IDE. Seagate or Western Digital appear to be the prefered options (especially the 7200.10 versions of the Seagate). I would suggest a...

    11Ghz processor anyone?!

Yeah, well - my dad's got one even faster! He keeps it in the garage and won't let anyone else see it! :p ;) I would have thought that for any of these transistors to work, they would have carried out the testing under supercooled conditions (or at least very chilled). So...

    11Ghz processor anyone?!

The mods may choose to move this as technicaly it's a news story. However, as it relates directly to microchip technology, I thought this may be a relevant thread to put it in. Could be old to some of you, but I've only just come across the article. Makes for interesting reading...

No. However, had you said £1764.92, it may have piqued my interest. :D

About to order - indecisiveness sets in!

And the 'Magic 8 Ball' says...... ......dunno. :p Sorry mate, I really don't know the answer to this one. Perhaps one of the mods could answer it, otherwise you may need to contact OcUK direct. But don't let the thread die.............it's alive I tell you, ALIVE!!!! :eek...
