    Bose QC15 headphone cables

Recently purchased some QC15's and the only thing that lets them down is the flimsy headphone cable which is definitely going to break at some point. Anyone else had problems with their cables? Anyone done anything / bought some third party cables to make it a bit stronger? I'm...

    Cable braiding tutorial

Anyone every braided / heatshrinked a headphone cord? Just got a pair of expensive bose headphones and the cable doesn't look particularly strong, want to try and prevent it breaking. Would it still be flexible with braiding over?

In Cambodia make sure you withdraw from the 'Canadian bank' as it gives you free withdrawals in comparison to the others which charge $1-2.

    Travel Insurance

Other than that it's quite good, and I can get worldwide camera insurance for a year from some where else for £30~ so in total that works out as £80 which seems OK. Who did you get the yearly cover from yermum?

    Travel Insurance

Also just looking through the ins and outs of the platinum policy there is so many loopholes for them not to pay you. One thing that worries me is I'm bringing my DSLR Camera and the 'Personal possessions' cover is £1,500 BUT they limit it to £200/Item, my bag cost nearly £200 alone lol.

    Travel Insurance

Thanks for all the replys. Which level of cover would you normally get from direct-travel Volcs? Just looking at it, even the platinium is quite a good quote for me compared to what I found elsewhere :)

Anyone got advice for a Thailand Holiday?

I've paid £575 for a Heathrow > Bangkok > Hanoi and then return Bangkok > Heathrow. Another question I guess is how much any of the backpackers spent, in pounds, in a month? I'm going for 8 weeks and it looks like I'm going to have £1500-2000, which needs to pay for overground travel...
