Good question, i've used rears without drama which had different impedence to the fronts ....it won't matter as long as you're amp can drive that particular impedence.
Apart from more power it will be hard to match SQ in stereo over your NAD on either a single receiver purchase or a...
Generally home cinema amps don't make for decent stereo amps, a £300 stereo amp will arguably sound better than a £1k receiver for stereo duties....most receivers just sound quite flat and uninspiring but there are always exceptions so YMMV. It isn't until you hit the more exotic class of multi...
That's international football in a nutshell, the EPL is run and gun and that's why it is exciting and unique.
England as a team are too slow and predictable for me and Rooney looked burnt out.
I almost ended up buying the Audio GD Reference Seven but decided to sell my preamp and go the Meridian route, which proved a good decision in the end for both HT and 2 channel purposes.
I'd still like to hear that Audio GD one day though, his designs are getting a lot more aesthetically...
I never really got my hopes up for this series because it would have been a miracle to reach the heights of BOB.
For one the whole theatre of the war in europe resonates at a different level to that in the pacific for me personally, and two the production of this show isn't a patch on BOB...
The Samsung boxes are far superior to the SA's, a lot faster, quieter, more reliable and can output 576i over hdmi through to my DVDO Edge.
One advantage the SA box has is in scaling, the samsung is definitely poorer in this area.
You can also pop a 1tb drive inside ;)
That's exactly why i posted that :p
They have stated a more gradual MLL rise with these new sets and i am sure with the negative publicity they will follow through ....but a rising black level is the one thing all plasma owners will get.
Intl defenders would have laughed at walcotts predictable tap and go approach, you want to see a proper arsenal winger look at clips from Overmars or Titi when he started with us.
Yes the EX5xx LCD's are great sets this year, people with a pre-disposition against LCD's should take a look. I did and was very impressed.
No motion problems that i have spotted, very good black levels (that won't change over time :p *cough* Plasma) and no buzzing.
Walcott was lucky to be in the squad for me, i'm harsh on the lad but i'm a gooner and watch pretty much every minute he plays.......he really hasn't developed his weaknesses (which are numerous) any since he was 16. If he can't develop at Arsenal he can't develop period.
Parker should have got...
I'm sure they released a statement ages ago indicating the V series will still have the MLL rise but it will be more gradual - all plasmas do it so it's unavoidable but Panasonics is aggressive.
As far as how many ppl it affects with the G range, i would think most just aren't aware or have few...
Given the black level and IR problems i wouldn't buy any recent Panasonic plasma, these are very real issues.....who wants a 1-1.5k tv that gets progressively worse with age.
The newer Sony LCD's are actually very good tv's, the EX range for eg. and aren't plagued by the Pana problems.
Yamaha receivers have the best DSP modes for movies, but Denon/Marantz fair better for 2 channel playback - on average.
Onkyo's give bang for buck in terms of features but musically they're toward the bottom of my list and i've owned an Onkyo 805 in the past.
The Arcam 350/300's are very good...
Why do you assume it's the volts that is the problem?
You're at 375fsb on a p5q ...what makes you think you need more than 1.28v? :) 1.2v is overkill for that speed.
I've had both and considering the cost i wouldn't recommend a i7 rig to anyone unless you're encoding h264 24/7, even then the improvements in speed aren't as big as you would expect. Don't get me wrong i7 rigs are good but value for money is poor versus a good 45nm core2 setup.
