    Ender 5 Pro Upgrade Thread.

Depending on the length of the rails you have I'd really recommend doing the Zero G Mercury. I converted my ender 5 over a year ago and it's awesome, quite the change from original.

What did you get for Christmas

If it's the filament that came with the machine stringing, start with some new fresh filament and then go from there, likely it might have absorbed some water.

    Random 3D printing chatter

He Prusa mini is more like £410, the SOVOL S06+ was about £245ish. Bed wire strain relief as mentioned by others can be printed so don't really see it being a large issue.

Ended up recommending the Sovol Sv06, out of the box it's the best machine I could find for spec at this price point.

    Random 3D printing chatter

Whats the best entry level printer available for around a £300 budget? Asking for a friend interested in getting into this, myself I have a Zergo G Mercury (Ender 5 Core XY Conversion) and always thought the best entry level was an Ender 3, is this the case or is there anything better at this...

    Valve announces the SteamDeck

I've got it installed through boilr so assume that is direct exe. Performance settings taken from TheTerk - Cyberpunk Performance, I've gone further and it it does reach up to 40fps, my biggest gripe is it seems like it's constantly stuttering, I'll give it a shot reducing the settings further...

    Valve announces the SteamDeck

Got a 512GB steam deck and am playing about with Cyberpunk installed from GOG using Heoric but the performance is terrible (loads of stuttering and 25fps) following the same setting as a number of vids on youtube and i've gone as far as installing the fsr 2.0 mod but still no avail. Has anyone...

*****Official BBQ Thread - Suns out, Buns out!*****

Weber kettle 57cm is pretty much the defacto go to BBQ, versitile and can do everything pretty well, if you have the extra budget something like the aldi kamado will be brilliant as they are more thermally stable thus hold the same temp for longer and tend to use less fuel however the out lay...

    Ventilation

I'd suggest for the enclosure printing a nevermore re-cirulating filter, which will help on the fumes front, regarding extraction I'd suggest sealing the encolsure and using the printer to create a duct and fan to your air brick?

    Advice needed for novice

You would indeed have had much better success with that print if you selected the large flat surface to lay onto the bed, that is possible in most slicers and definitely possible in cura via the left hand buttons on the side of the main screen you can select the face that contacts the bed...

Anova Precision Cooker - cook sous vide with your iPhone.

Just picked one of the Anova Precisions up while discount and before jumping in I'm after a vacuum sealer, any recommendations? Been trawling amazon but there are so many and it's hard to tell what is actually reasonable, budget is up to about £80 max and I know in that range you can get the...

    Automatic Supermini Advice

Hello All! Currently looking for a supermini for my mother, she's had both of her knees replaced and finds manuals hard to drive thus she has had an automatic golf for the past 2 cars. Her current car is a mk6 golf 1.6 auto and probably covers about 400 miles every 6-7 weeks. She is...
